______________________________________________________________________________ Alicia started as a volunteer in March of 2005 for a work experience course, she then was hired on in September of 2006 as a Veterinary Assistant. She has 4 male companions at home, 3 of which have 4 lets and 1 whom only has 3. Alicia's newest addition is a 7 month old domestic short hair tabby cat named Lukas, (or Lou Cat). He is a great addition to her already busy family. He loves to snuggle with his cat brother Dominic. Dominic is Alicia's 5 year old domestic short hair tuxedo cat. He adopted her while he was at MVH for multiple facial surgeries as he was found with his face ripped open. An instant bond betweent he two of them was created and she had to take him home. He is Alicia's 'main man' and is the best snuggle monkey ever! Also in the busy household is the bratty Beagle named Tucker. He is now 5 years old and is almost too smart for his own good. He is very much a brat but loves his brothers and mommy. Alicia's last furry animal is Chico; her 3 legged yellow lab whom is now 6 years old and lost his front right leg at 12 months of age after being hit by a car. It has not slowed him down in the least and he is still as active as a puppy. The 4 'brothers' are all best buddies and get along great! Animals have always been such an important part of Alicia's life and even told her mother she would work with animals her whole life at the age of 3. Alicia has taken a multitude of courses in the veterinary field and still plans to become a Registered Animal Health Technologist.

As part of her daily routine, she is carefully groomed and cared for by "Monte" and "Milkshake".

She was hired as a full time veterinary assistant/receptionist in June of 2011. She has a full house of critters consisting of 1 dog and 3 cats. Taya, a Bernese Mountain Dog is 20 months old and is bundle joy and still very much puppy like. She lives with her 2 'brother kitties' and her 1 'sister' kitty. Tay and Dexter, a domestic short hair are great friends. Dexter is 18 months old and is Ashlyns' baby boy! His sister Callie the calico is 17 months old and loves to bathe in the sun and sit on the window sill. Her newest addition is Beaner (aka Oliver) and he is a domestic short hair whom is only 19 weeks old! He is still very much like a kitten and enjoys picking on his siblings. He is also a snuggle love and has to snoggle right on his mommy's pillow. Ashlyn has always had a love for animals and plans on pursuing more education to learn more.
