Slimfit™ Weight Management Program

Weight management is critical to the health of your pet. The additional physical load of carrying excess weight can exacerbate joint disease or back pain, and the metabolic load can lead to diabetes or other diseases.  Slimfit™ is our veterinary exclusive program run in conjunction with MediCal™ Veterinary Diets designed to help pets achieve and maintain an ideal body weight. The program involves regular consultations with a Slimfit™ counselor to develop a unique customized weight program combining nutrition and exercise and on-going support for owners.  This enables you to achieve successful sustainable weight loss for your pet.  Our software will track individual patient progress, and our trained staff will be able to guide you towards success! 

 

Our model patient is a yellow lab named “Noah” who started the program weighing in at a whopping 176 pounds and lost 91 lbs to graduate as a lean 85 lb handsome boy.  His achievement was so outstanding that he went on to become the National Poster Child for the MediCal SlimFit™ program across Canada.
